ABI Bank Ltd. (ABIB) is the flagship company of the ABI Financial Group. Over the years, we have gained a reputation as a financially sound, customer-oriented and well-managed indigenous banking institution.

The Bank commenced operations in 1990 when it acquired the demised Fidelity Trust Bank.   The Bank grew  considerably with its asset base moving from EC$28M in 1990 to $936M in 2009; a major contributor to this growth being the acquisition of Swiss American National Bank in 2000.  From a staff complement of 9 in 1990 it now employs 117 employees across its three (3) branches.

Our main offices are located at the ABI Financial Centre on Redcliffe Street, in the capital St. John's and our branch offices are located at Woods Centre and Jolly Harbour. Our staff consists of experienced and dedicated professionals, for whom customer service and the development of Antigua and Barbuda are priorities. ABI Bank’s commitment to education, community development and financial literacy has been regionally acclaimed, with accolades received from the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank. This includes the overall Best Corporate Citizen award, among Eastern Caribbean Currency Union (ECCU) banks, in 2006.
