About the ABI Financial Group
 
Seventeen years ago, a dynamic group of Antiguans had the vision and courage to embark on a mission aimed at providing Antigua and Barbuda with wide-ranging financial services, and the ABI Financial Group was born. In the 21st century, ABI continues to dream big and make bold moves, extending its reach, not only locally, but across regional and international borders.
 
From rather modest beginnings in 1990, the group has expanded to include seven companies: ABI Bank Ltd. (ABIB), its flagship company, which includes an Investment Department; Antigua Overseas Bank (AOB); ASD Brokerage and Investment (ASD); ABI Trust (Antigua) Ltd. (ABIT); ABI Insurance Company Ltd. (ABII); ABI Development Company Ltd. (ABID); and Jolly Beach Vacations. 
 
In January 2005, the ABI Financial Group moved into its new corporate center, which houses all of its entities and serves as a one-stop shop for customers.
