The ABI Financial Center,
located on Redcliffe
Street,
rises
five storeys above St.
John’s City.
A physical symbol of the ABI
Group, the building consists of
elements that express
both its past and future.
Firmly rooted in the Caribbean,
local Antiguan limestone is used
for the center block of the
building. This references Antigua’s historical
architecture and signifies the
solidity of the company’s
foundation. This center block
is flanked by wings of glass and
aluminum. Aqua blue and
sand beige like our famed
beaches, these wings signal the future of the ABI Financial
Group; still Caribbean in flavour but progressive, modern
and ambitious. These two aspects
- the solid center and its wings
- are tied
together by the sloped roof that
covers the whole building.
This distinctive structure has
dramatically altered the St.
John’s City skyline, while establishing
the ABI Financial Group as a
strong and proud presence in
Antigua, the Caribbean, and the
world.
